Summary

Article describes how Women's World Banking and its implementing partner, Xac Bank of Mongolia, are launching a savings and financial education program for girls in Mongolia. The project tests the degree to which savings products aimed at girls enjoy uptake among the target population, the difference that having control over a savings account makes in girls' lives, and the difference that financial education makes both in the level of savings and the linking of financial goals to broader life goals.
