The Institutional Development Services (IDS) program seeks to improve the performance of members through a capacity-building program and a performance measurement instrument, while increasing interaction with members’ staff and partners outside the United States through working group activities. The main activities take place within the environs of IDS’s six working groups: Business Development Services (BDSWG), Client Assessment (CAWG), Consumer Protection (CPWG), Financial Services (FSWG), HIV/AIDS and Microenterprise Development (HAMED), and Poverty Assessment (PAWG).
