Criteria for SEEP Membership
The applicant must satisfy the following requirements:Private Voluntary Organization (PVO) of SEEP Membership Criteria
1.Operate as a nonprofit private development organization.2. Implement micro and small enterprise programs in developing countries, including—
• Direct project implementation at the field level.
• Provision for ongoing research and development, technical assistance, and training to field-based programs.
3. Demonstrate organizational interest in improving micro and small enterprise development capabilities.
4. Demonstrate interest in advancing the state of the micro and small enterprise development sector.
5. Be committed to contributing staff time and travel costs, as well as annual dues.
Process for Membership
The applicant agency should provide a letter with the following information:- An explanation of why the agency is interested in joining SEEP.
- A description of the agency’s approach to micro and small enterprise development.
- Detailed information about program or project implementation methods, including organizational information, such as nonprofit status, board of directors and staff, and organizational ties.
