The applicant
must satisfy the following requirements:
§
Be
an individual formerly employed by a SEEP member organization.[1]
§
Demonstrate
interest in advancing the state of the microfinance and micro and small
enterprise development sector.
§
Be committed to
contributing time and travel costs to SEEP events.
Application Process
Step 1 – Application Submission
Complete a
membership Application Form, a curriculum vitae and a letter of application.
The letter of
application should include the following information:
- An explanation of why the
applicant is interested in joining SEEP; and
- A description of the applicant’s
area of expertise in microfinance and micro and small enterprise
development.
Step 2 –Application Review
The SEEP
Executive Director will review and approve all membership applications.
Step 3 – Application Notification
After the
Executive Director reviews the application and accepts an individual for
membership, a letter will be sent to notify the applicant. A conference call between the member and SEEP
will be set up to discuss any questions a new member may have about SEEP and
how the new member can contribute to SEEP.
