Moving Out of Poverty: Cross-Disciplinary Perspectives on Mobility
by Deepa Narayan, Patti Petesch in 2007
Community of Practice: Financial Services
Moving Out of Poverty is a bottom-up study that was designed to learn about mobility directly from the experiences of people across the developing world. The research program builds on many lessons from our earlier cross-country poverty work, Voices of the Poor. From the start, we wanted to engage meaningfully with a broad network of experts across disciplines who could contribute to the quality of the study. We wanted to make sure that the study benefited from the latest thinking about mobility.
