Please join us for a dynamic discussion on mainstreaming the inclusion of women in business policies and practices for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) throughout Asia and beyond to support gender-led investment.

The USAID/Asia Bureau, in partnership with MEDA and the USAID Asia and Middle East Economic Growth Best Practices project (AMEG), has led the development and roll-out of a gendered environment, social, governance (ESG) framework to promote women’s economic empowerment.

This workshop will provide an introduction to USAID/Asia’s efforts in gender lens investing, the newly created gendered ESG assessment tools, MEDA’s Gender Equality and Mainstreaming (GEM) Framework, and will present initial findings and lessons learned from the pilot efforts in India and Indonesia. The workshop will also include a facilitated discussion with participants on opportunities for incorporating gendered ESG tools in the investment process.

RSVPPlease RSVP by September 6th, 2017. If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Christy Sisko (csisko@chemonics.com)
