M&E Capacity Building with Local Partners
Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) and InsideNGO are pleased to announce a partnership to offer a 2015 monitoring and evaluation (M&E) webinar series.
Each quarter, a webinar highlighting a critical M&E topic will be presented by leading experts from VEGA and InsideNGO members. The webinars are free and open to anyone interested in discussing and learning about best practices in M&E. (Recorded versions of the webinars will be available to VEGA and InsideNGO members.)
Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and learning from the data it produces is more important than ever. Stakeholders require strong M&E systems for accountability and transparency; organizations desire effective M&E approaches to support project management and ongoing learning. New technologies, higher stakeholder expectations, and more complex projects and contexts create demands for capacity building in all aspects of M&E.
Stakeholders increasingly rely on local partners to play a significant role in M&E system design, delivery, and improvement, so how can they be engaged more effectively? This webinar will explore M&E capacity building with local partners: What cultural aspects need to be addressed? What capacity building approaches are effective? How can M&E used as a learning tool?
Please join Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) and InsideNGO as we hear from experts from Social Impact, ACDI/VOCA, and QED and field your questions.
