SummaryChristian Children's Fund (CCF) is a child development organization dedicated to the well being of children belonging to poor communities all over the world. In India, CCF works through local NGOs, and assists them to implement its child sponsorship program.The partner NGOs implement programs in the core areas of Health, Education, Livelihood, Emergencies and Child Protection in a defined cluster of CCF project villages. The livelihood program of CCF-India is known as Livelihood and Economic Enhancement of Poor (LEEP) Program - a child centered program that focuses on enhancing the economic condition of poor families so that they will be in a position to meet the basic and growing needs of their children. Launched in 2004, LEEP Programhas a very specific objective of moving families from Below Poverty Line (BPL) to Above Poverty Line (APL). For LEEP, this translates into achieving a minimum standard of Rs. 24000 net income per family per annum.
