Impact Evaluation Alternatives Webinar
Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) and InsideNGO are pleased to announce the fourth and final webinar in the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) series.
Now, more than ever, the stakes are high for organizations to demonstrate the impact of their programs. However, conducting impact evaluations requires organizations at the start of programs to collect quantitative and qualitative baseline data in order to assess changes in outcomes that are directly related to the program. Due to funding restrictions, donor requirements, and quick program start-ups, many organizations are unable to conduct robust impact evaluations. As a result, organizations struggle to articulate the full impact of their programs and make programmatic adjustments to maximize impact.
This webinar will explore alternatives to traditional impact evaluations. Presenters will provide tools and examples of programs that did not have the resources in place for an impact evaluation but employed alternative methods to collect data to assess and demonstrate the impact of a program.
