The Citi Centre for Financial Literacy (CCFL) is a department of the School exclusively dedicated towards spreading and managing the activities of Financial Literacy. The main objective of CCFL is, "spreading Financial Literacy amongst the poor, especially women by building their financial awareness, knowledge and skill to enable them to manage their finances and thereby making them financially self-reliant and provide them better and secured future".
Principal Responsibilities:
1. To manage a training team
2. Co-ordinate and maintain partner relations, Networks.
3. Develop vision for CCLF in co-ordination with the strategic plan of the School
4. To design and develop Training programmes in Financial Literacy
5. To effectively conduct trainings in diverse areas of microfinance
6. Oversee the preparation of Training Reports by the team members
7. Write proposals for fund raising for activities related to CCFL
8. Other tasks as allotted by the Chair, CCFL.
Qualification and experience:
Postgraduate in social sciences / Rural Management / MBA. Atleast 8-10 years of experience in effective training in the microfinance sector.
The Candidate should be committed to the cause of poverty alleviation. The candidate should be able to travel extensively and work under challenging circumstances in the field. The candidate must possess ability to build a team and lead by example; excellent communication, proficient in computer knowledge and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals. Additionally, the candidate must be organized with the ability to multi task, be flexible, pay attention to details and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Fluency in reading, writing and speaking English is essential.
