Conferences and Learning Events
SEEP has a proven track record in convening conferences and learning events. SEEP has organized its widely recognized Annual Conference for nearly 20 years. In 2012 the conference attracted nearly 600 participants representing 225 organizations from 70 countries.
SEEP has organized regional summits for the last five years in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, collectively engaging over 160 industry leaders from 40 countries annually. SEEP designed and organized the Arusha Saving Group Conference in 2011 in Tanzania and advised conference organizers for the 2013 Savings Group Conference in Arlington, Virginia attracting over 200 attendees at each event.
In 2013, SEEP organized the LIFT Conference in conjunction with USAID and FHI 360, as well as the Children and Youth Economic Strengthening program.
SEEP also hosts many interactive online learning events. These Webinars promote knowledge sharing and the exchange of ideas on a global scale.

What are they?
The SEEP Dialogues are forums for the exchange of ideas among microfinance and enterprise development practitioners as well as other key stakeholders.
What are the topics?
The topics reflect ongoing issues and challenges related to building inclusive markets through financial and enterprise solutions. The format includes critical analysis by selected thought leaders and active audience engagement.
Meet the Practitioner
SEEP's Meet the Practitioner is a forum designed to connect enterprise development and microfinance practitioners with a variety of audiences and stakeholders interested in learning about successful field practices and innovations, new resources, tools and ideas. SEEP facilitates these exchanges in a variety of ways, such as interviews and Q&A sessions, on-line events, trainings and workshops at the Annual Conference.
On April 9, 2013, Aban Haq, Chief Operating Officer of the Pakistan Microfinance Network and Jesse Fripp, Vice President of ShoreBank International reflect on savings in Pakistan and shared insights into the essential factors for successful deposit mobilization, talking to one another and answering questions from the audience.
