Promoting Inclusive Markets and Financial Systems

Service providers interested in working with the youth market have to study not only their new client population, but also where their activities are taking place. Every locality has a distinct culture, economic reality, and set of social dynamics that will undoubtedly impact the organization’s performance, as well the way it should approach youth. Some questions to consider: What services can be offered within the constraints of local laws? Is the youth population educated? Are they more interested in employment or entrepreneurial activities? Are girls and boys considered equal in terms of rights and social relations? SEEP and its four PLP partners considered these issues in depth. A full session of the online learning event was dedicated to sharing partners’ experiences working in four very different and challenging environments:
