A major initiative of the association has been the development and implementation of a communication and advocacy strategy plan that the consortium has found essential for enhancing cooperation among members, the relationship between the Association and its member organizations, and the industry's image.

The director also presents highlights from advocacy to eliminate some existing constraints within the sector, such as the capping of interest rates, regulation and the difficulties in applying the clients protection principles, among others.
