This Brief describes the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) programme in Tanzania, which aims at federating Savings Groups into collective marketing structures to enhance their joint marketing. It lists the objectives of the program, describes the context and the SILC as a Platform for agricultural marketing, presents the outcomes, addresses issues of sustainability, and concludes with the lessons learned.
