BEAM/Springfield webinar: The Systemic Change Framework - A practical tool to guide systems intervention

Apr 11, 2017 (Tue), 11:00am-12:00pm (BST)

This webinar seeks to provide insight into the use and utility of the Systemic Change Framework (introduced in the 2nd Edition of the M4P Operational Guide) in guiding intervention in market systems and monitoring the process of market system change.

The aim of market systems development intervention is to catalyse lasting impact at scale by changing how market systems function for the benefit of the poor. Experience suggests programmes that struggle to define their 'systems change' objectives risk being locked in a perennial 'pilot' mode and fail to realise significant impact at scale. This undermines sustainability as well as outreach. This webinar offers a reminder to practitioners of the importance of a systemic change ambition, what that means in practice and how the Systemic Change Framework can help programmes better target, monitor and achieve impact at scale. The webinar will explore the utility of the Framework in the context of a case study from Bangladesh.
